Collaboration with TEESMAT

NanoBat announces the start of its collaboration with the TEESMAT OITB

The NanoBat consortium started to actively participate in TEESMAT – the Open Innovation Test Bed for Electrochemical Energy Storage Materials. TEESMAT brings a comprehensive response to the critical bottlenecks faced by EU stakeholders in the field of electrochemical energy storage materials. It leverages EU know-how & expertise from 11 countries and facilitates access to physical facilities, usable data, and industrially relevant services based on novel characterisation solutions. Comprehensive information about TEESMAT can be found at their website.

NanoBat will provide 4 technology offers to the unique pool of characterisation techniques which are able to probe the behaviour of all components of a battery, based on the four prominent pillars of:

1) A Nanotechnology toolset for advanced characterisation in battery research (involved partners are Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Ruhr-University of Bochum, and University of Burgos)
2) Computational Modelling and Experimental Characterisation of GHz materials in terms of electrical and dielectric properties (offered by our SME partner QWED)
3) Fast and broad-band Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) for Feasibility Studies in ground-breaking Battery Research (introduced by Keysight Technologies)
4) Pleione energy pilot line for Electrode production and Cell and Energy Storage Packs production equipment
